Plumbago auriculata

Plumbago auriculata is a common landscape plant in Singapore. It is hardy and has aclimatised well to Singapore’s weather. Plumbago auriculata orignates from Cape Province of South Africa. It has beautiful skyblue flowers.

The shrub will flower profusely after being cut back or after a growth flush, as it bears flowers on new wood. One had to need to cut back regularly, if not the shrub will scramble into trees if allowed and the growth of the shrub would be messy.
