Majorie Caygill (British Museum) employs eyewitness accounts to create a lively picture of Sloane and his patients in London. Mark Nesbitt (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew) focuses on plants that Sloane discovered on his 1687 voyage to Jamaica, illustrated by historic specimens and artefacts from Kew’s collections.
