Dendrobium dantaniense

Dendrobium dantaniense is found in Thailand and Vietnam. It is a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with erect, clustered, canes with 4 to 6 oblong to lanceolate leaves that blooms on a short inflorescence arising from the nodes near the apex of the cane. The tightly clustered flowers occurring usually from the transition of cooler to warmer weather. It flowers sporadically in Singapore.

The flowers are round 1 cm. The sepals and petals are light yellow with longitudinal dots along the veins, lip orangy yellowish with some hints of purple.

People also call this plant as Dendrobium alterum but this should be another dendobium which in similar in appearance.
